Questions for you fellas, I got skunked out of 39 this year for deer, but read something about a short range hunt near Lake Lowell that is available until November anyone know anything about that.? I looked trough the Regs book but just finishe confuse on all of it.. I'd really hate to have tag soup for the second year in a row.. Any help would e appreciated.

It's area 38. Short range weapons only. Shotguns, muzzle loaders, bows, pistols.

Just looked at the regs. Page 98 describes short weapons. Page 13, note # 3, says the portion of area 38 within Lake Lowell sector of Deer Flat WMA is controlled hunt only. Meaning it's a draw tag. The rest of 38 is still open though, mostly private property.
