The disease, known as bluetongue, has killed mostly white-tailed deer but has also infected mule deer and one bighorn sheep in Idaho.

Yes, my out of state hunt to Montana has been canceled because no tags are given for my area because of blue tongue, two years in a row now. The local guy that hunts that area said last year was the least amount of deer he has seen there since he has moved there many years ago. That is in Lewistown, right there in the middle and we were hunting white tail.

Kind of interesting it is moving westward.
