That is pretty cool looking. It is different than the standard AR's in shape of the magazine. I like it.

That was a great article. I'm interested on how the bench shooting went.

It went well. I spent most of my time breaking in the new barrel, but I shot a five-shot group before I called it a day and it was around .6" at 100 yards. Like most rimfires, that can only get better with more shots down the barrel.
I spent most of the time shooting the new Ruger 17WSM, but when I hit the prairie dog fields in a month, or so, I'll have the Franklin Armory!

Not bad. Does not get much better than hitting the prairie dog fields. That is some good times.

Yep, shooting prarie dogs is tons of fun. The only time I've ever shot them I was using my .218 Bee. My uncle and went to Wyoming to hunt antelope, took along my .218 and he took his .22 Hornet. We weren't really expecting to see many prarie dogs, we had hunted in the same area before and never seen any. But when we got there the "dogs" were all over. So, we forgot about antelope and shot "dogs" for three days. Both guns did real good on them. We'd shoot a town for awhile then drive around and find another spot. I managed to put down a coyote at 176 yds. with my Bee too. I was shooting 35 gr. V=Max.

Lots of action is always good. But, I still appreciate the long hunts like Elk where you just observe and have an awesome view.

Oh yeah, I enjoy that too. We went elk hunting one time on the North Fork Clearwater River and were were in the woods for three weeks, that was great fun. Beautiful country, saw bear and mt.goats. We drew big buck tags this year for area 40 which is a sought after tag and area here. This was our fifth year of applying. We've been turned down for antelope tags here 14 times now. I enjoy all types of hunting.

So far I've only put about 10-15 rounds through it, while I am breaking the new barrel in. I did shoot one group and it was a group around .6" at 100 yards: I'll have more on this once I get the barrel completely broken in! Eric

For a rimfire that is looking more than respectable.

Yes, that is real good. Shouldn't have any problems hitting the varmints with that.
