Just found these forums... I always seem to get on forum on things I'm into... as my kids are getting older it seems we are always looking for things to do in the outdoors... most of our late spring and summers are spent bowfishing on the Snake river and winters are still spent on the Snake but hunting waterfowl... not really a big game hunter... hoping to get my kids and wife hooked on shooting sagerats this year so maybe they might want to go out and shoot a dawg or two this year when the waterfowl season is slow...
In my spare time I build waterfowl calls and have been doing so since 2008... It was kind of a full time gig a few years ago as our company was getting exposure but now I just do it as orders come in and don’t push it much as the full time job demands more of my time and pays better...lol… I have built a handful of Pred calls mostly close reeds for some buddies and I have done a few open reed howlers off my duck toneboard jig... there really was no money and the market has been flooded with Pred calls so I never really pushed them much... but I do plan to build a few more as we get into shooting a few more critters... nothing better than building your own gear if you can...
I am not on here to push my calls or drum up business just figured I would mention what my passions are...
Hope to see a few of you around... might even try my hand in some of the tournaments... seems I always do that with my passions in life like calling contest and bowfishing tournaments...lol..
