~ Hey All ~
Let me start off by saying howdy...I haven't posted much, so many of you don't know me. I live in Twin Falls and hunt both predators and big game. I prefer predators for the excitement and relatively low cost. I am heading to Louisiana for a couple months toward the end of February or into March. I will be in Baton Rouge for the duration. The opportunity to travel and possibly hunt in another state is a rare occurrence for me, and one I'd truly love to take advantage of! I guess my question is...Anyone got any ideas?
I'm definitely not interested in high-fence hunts or "guided" predator hunts. Does anyone know the area or have any contacts in the area who might get me started? I was in Texas recently, but found EVERYONE wanted fees to hunt on their 5-25 acre corner lot...got pretty impossible to hunt there!
Anyway...thanks for listening and any ideas are appreciated!
Cheers,
Idahosongdogger

Contact the fish & game there or whatever they call it. They can tell you if and what kind of licenses or tags you need. Maybe you can google it. Should be coyotes somewhere and how about 'gators?

No doubt there are some awesome places to hunt coyotes...maybe gators too!?!...I was kinda hoping to meet up with some hunters back there. Louisiana Department if Wildlife and Fisheries is great to find out rules and general info, but they aren't much interested in giving pro tips or referring someone to hunting clubs. I will keep using the Google. Thanks for your help broper!
