ram13,
Come to our Club Meetings, or Tom's Cabin on Wednesday at 11am, or any other function that we have, and get to know some of the guys. Once you have established an acquaintance with someone, they will be more apt to take you calling with them. It is kind of a TRUST thing! No one wants to take someone that is not safety conscience, no one wants to get shot while hunting. Once you get to know someone, and they know you are not a syco with a gun, that is when they will relax and ask you to accompany them on a few stands.
Then it is time to get to know how your host does a pre-stand preparation, stand approach, stand set-up, and communicates during the stand, all of which are important to stand success!
Varmint/predator hunters are a little stand-off-ish, they tend to keep their calling "areas" (you notice I didn't say spots!!!) close to the vest (more like a deep dark secret). But once they get to know you, they begin to come around, a little!!!
Tell us what your rifle is?, and what model FoxPro you have?
Also tell us what areas you have been hunting?, how you are setting up?, are you completely camoed?, what sounds are you using? Are you using a decoy? Have you called any coyotes with your set-up yet?
Hope to hear from you soon! Gary BTW: What is you first name?
