New member from Nampa

Hello, my name is Steven. I have been hunting most of my life. I am pretty new to predator hunting though. I have called a few in with an electronic call but I think they see me or I scare them because they never get in close enough. I have tried using calls but I am not very good. My howls sound off and I don't think they like it haha. I have a 22-250 I use now and I am setting up my Remington r-15 .223. I have had some issues with it and had to send it back but it will be my main once it is all good. 

I just wanted to join the site and see what I could learn or events I could join. I am looking to get heavily into predator hunting and definitely appreciate any tips or advice. Thank you for allowing me to join. I look forward to speaking with everyone. Thanks again!

Welcome to the IVH Forums. We are glad you found us. We hope to meet you face to face soon.

We are having our ICC Tournament this weekend, you are welcome to come out and sign up to hunt it. It is a 2 person team hunt, so if you have a partner come on down.

We also have a Club meeting on Jan. 13th at 7pm at the Great Wall Chinese restaurant on Eagle Rd.

BTW: We also meet each week on Wednesday Morning at 11am at Tom's Cabin Cafe for beans, conversation, and business. You and everyone is welcome to come out and meet the crew. There is anywhere from 4 to 10 guys show up each week! Great Guys!

Sorry was not able to make the Lunch. I work weekdays 8-5. I will be at meeting next week for sure and maybe sign up as member! Not to get ahead of myself but that rock chuck camp out sounds awesome. Thanks again. I look forward to meeting everyone.
