I am a journalist based in Oregon. I am producing a radio story on how states and the federal gov't manage wolves. I'd like to shadow along with someone on a wolf hunt as part of my story to learn why they hunt wolves and what that process is like. If you are inclined to have a radio journalist shadow you on a wolf hunt, please contact me via the message board as I have a story deadline approaching. This would be a good way for wolf hunting advocates to get some air time. Thanks.

journalist, I don't think it is going to be that easy! For starters, no one knows who you are! No one knows if you are a real journalist! no one knows if you are not a Pro-Wolf Activist, who really has an agenda to put wolf hunters in the crosshairs.
If and when we find out that you are a legit Pro-Hunting, Pro-Gun, and not a Pro-Wolf Activist journalist, I would think that with the controversy of the wolf introduction and hunting, people will shy away from someone that joins a group as ours,
and asks for volunteers to be allowed to follow them around on a hunt. How do any of us know whether you are a real journalist, a pro-wolf jounalist, or simply a guy trying to find a place to hunt wolves, or just looking for the locations the wolves live in an attempt to try to protect the wolves!
We don't even take new guys coyote calling until we have gotten to know them, and feel we can trust them with a gun, and to keep our hunting areas a secret, or our methods of approaching a hunt. We are not going to give away our Wolf hunting locations to the world.
We would be glad to get to know you first! And you get to know us! When we feel we can trust you, and you are not any of the above, we may sign on to some air time.
