Looking forward to wolf season

Gary and I managed to get out for a few hours on Thursday and do some scouting. We managed to find deer and elk sign, and were we surprised at all the wolf sign we found concentrated in this area. I am excited for wolf season to arrive now, we are planning a trip into the area as soon as it opens, come on August 30. Gary will post some pictures since I still have trouble with that function on the forum. Also saw one coyote but it was on private ground, in fact about 150yds from the house, and a ton of Columbian ground squirrels. All in all it was a great trip. Loren 
Gary's Comments: Man this was such beautiful country, I hated to have to leave, and so did Loren, he wanted to build a house in several places along our trip. At one point we were at 7600 ft. This trip was a great day, it helped me relax, and got some rarefied air. It was a great Day. We even saw a few deer, here is one of them that Loren got some pictures of.
We found a cool little lake in the mountain. The water was so clear you could see the bottom way out deep.
