Hello everyone. I was planning to attend your next meeting on the 13th. Wanted to meet you all and ask a few questions. I found out I will be out of town on a business trip on that day so. I decided to ask one of my questions here. I would love to get back into whistle pigs. I used to enjoy this 30 years ago back in Washington. I also have a friend who I think might enjoy it as well who has never been hunting at all. I dont know where to go? I live in Meridian, I have a nice 4wd pickup so I can get off road. I was given one suggestion from a friend at work to go out by Mountain home but is there somewhere a little closer?

Birds of Prey area is closed to shooting. To many people in the valley anymore for easy close shooting. Don't shoot them anymore so don't have any good ideas for you.

When did Birds of Prey area get closed to shooting? I'd have to take a closer look but there is always someone out there shooting when I've been there. I would think as long as not shooting at the Birds of Prey you are in pretty good shape. I need to relook at my BLM map and see if where I've always seen people if that is in it.

That's good. I've never seen any signs but know I was near it. I have watched a bunch of awesome birds of prey that would come to take a look at what was going on.
