1st time shooters...

Hey guys,

My buddy and I are making the trip over from the Seattle area to come hang out and shoot in the tournament. This will be our first time, so we figured the tourney would give us an opportunity to meet a couple of folks, and maybe get a general finger pointing of, “ Go over that way..”

Not looking to hammer anyone’s sweet spot, just hoping for a hint or two to get us started.

Yeah, come on out. We'll be glad to have you participate. The basic area you can legally hunt is south of the Payette River, north of the Snake River and from the Oregon/Idaho line east to Glens Ferry. Have you got a good map that shows BLM land? If so we can probably point out some areas. Don't forget, you'll need a non resident hunting license. So come early enough to get that taken care of.

Sometimes it helps if your vehicle has a bit of ground clearance, and if it gets wet the mud is slicker than slick in Mountain Home.
