??? April 5th BLM Trash Cleanup Day - SANDHOLLOW/PEARL ROAD

Hello Everyone,

How about April 5th, for a BLM Trash Cleanup Day??

We are going to attack the Sandhollow/Pearl Road this time.

WE NEED ALL THE ABLE BODIED MEN AND WOMEN THAT WE CAN GET. The Pearl Road area is a big area, with lots of trash. If you are an IVH Member, we encourage you to come out and help us make a difference in the Community!

Please remember, if you have a pickup, flatbed truck, big hauler truck, a utility trailer that you can bring, please do so, we need all of them we can get out there.

Last year we picked up 6 tons of trash and garbage from the BLM. This year lets try to exceed that amount!!!

WE are going to meet at the Sand Hollow Cafe at 7am for breakfast and make plans of attack!

We will be exactly 3 miles from the Sand Hollow Cafe on Pearl Rd. on the right hand side.

We will meet on the morning of April 5th at 7am at the Sand Hollow Cafe for breakfast and planning of attack.

There will also be a BBQ lunch of burgers and dogs.

Sand Hollow Store and Cafe is on old hiway 30 and Oasis Rd. There is a Sand Hollow exit, #17, on the freeway.

We are going to need everyone to bring a metal rake and a good shovel, whether round nose, square nosed, or scoop shovel. There is a pile of sheetrock pieces out there, that has to be picked up.

And good gloves and your best work clothes! Lots of trash out there to keep us busy.

Sorry I will not be able to attend this one. Racing starts the 30th so my weekends are pretty busy from here on out. It was lots of fun last time and we picked up an insane amount of garbage!

OK gang according to NOAA the rain will be returning on Friday evening, and rain through Sunday. If this is the case we will postpone the clean-up until a future date, it is muddy out there and we do not want to do damage to the dirt roads. Thanx Loren

I just watched the channel 7 weather report and they're saying rain on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

OK Ladies and Gentleman, we will move the clean up to 4/26/14, the weather people as usual have no idea what will happen so not to take a chance we will see everyone Saturday the 26th. Loren

So, are we going to reschedule the clean up day or are we cancelling it for good? Reason I ask is because I was asked a couple times today. Just want it to be clear to everyone. There was a couple guys that didn't get the cancellation notice and showed up. We forgot to notify the Sand hollow Cafe of the cancellation and they were all ready for us, had tables all set up for our group. Might have gave ourselves a black eye there. Anyway, just wanted to make sure everyone knows what's going on with it now.
