Howdy Y'all
My name is Derek I am an Idaho Native! I Have been hunting Varmints from the time I could shoot a .22 at Whistle Pigs (4/5). My Fav to hunt are coyotes! I love my old Winchester model 70, 270 Weatherby Mag! They only made in for a few years in the late 90's! I reload custom precision hallow points for it! I work with a major outfit that makes game calls I am one of their guides and callers! I have a number of big game mounts on my wall! I have hunted a bit of everything but my specialty are elk. I have shot one every year from the time I Was 12! Hunting like I said is my passion! I am a wildlife bio major just so I can move up in the company I work for! (Hint Speak the Language) My my gun case holds a .22lr, .22-250, .243, 270, 270 mag, .33, 30-06, 300 Weatherby mag, rifled 12, and a 20 gauge! but I am looking for some people to hunt with when the big game and filming season ends! I also love to fish and camp and hike! |

Welcome to the IVH Forums! We are glad you found our website.
Where in Idaho are you located?
What is your age?
Maybe some of the club members will be able hook up with you on a calling trip! IVH is loaded with a bunch of great men and women, and some that are experienced predator callers. I am sure that a person can learn a thing or two from them.
We have a meeting tomorrow evening in Meridian at the Great Wall Restaurant on Eagle Rd. meeting starts at 7pm, come down early for good Chinese buffet food!

I am in the McCall area units 24 25 23 18 15 are where I hunt! I have some predator calling experience but would love to learn as much as I can! I have a lot of access to private lands and ranches because of my job so I am always wiling to take people out!

Yes I do what unit and how do you want to do it?? traps, rifle, bow even if you are feeling your roots!!

Not an outfitter! I just enjoy helping people get out and get an animal! I do have an outfitters and guides license tho
