I've tanned the badger hide and it has been a while so I need a refresher.

The hide has been salted over a month but the moisture still seems to be coming out of the hide since it has been fairly cold here and the hide sits in usually around 40 degrees in the garage with no wind and on a slight incline to drain but it doesn't do much draining off the board. I resalted last night, but I think I need to keep salting until the moisture stops showing before I put the dressing on?

broper: Nice buck ! I haven't got out this year. Season ends Tuesday and we are getting lots of rain and supposed to keep raining through about Thursday. So I probably won't get out this year. Oct 24, 2021 6:46:00 GMT -7
