FX Boss - .30 Caliber Airgun and a Big Squirrel

A very kind member of my site (and friend of mine) has offered me the chance to do a full review on his new FX Boss in .30 caliber. I am very excited about getting a chance to shoot this rifle, as I have heard great things about it from many of the folks who own them.



Cedric (Tofazfou on my site) and I headed up yesterday to do a full review of the Boss and it turned out to be a great day, with temps in the mid-60's and very little wind. We are collaborating on a full write-up and a short hunt video, so stay-tuned for the release date. We tried for Coyote a couple of weeks ago and will try again in a couple of weeks.

That is pretty awesome. What is the FPS?

The 50 grain pellets are going 853fps average and the 44 grain pellets are going 886fps average. I hit the ground squirrel with a 50 grain pellet and it made quite the pop! My buddy is going to be doing the video, with some input from me on the article. We should have it up in a couple of weeks (I hope). I'm going to try at least one more time to kill a coyote with it, but it is a big rifle!
