The Blast from the Past kicked off this morning at daybreak.

The entrant teams collected at the Great Wall Restaurant last evening at 6pm for the registration and rules reading.

13 teams registered for the hunt. Everyone got to chat and catch up with one another, made strategies for the hunt, after the rules reading and safety meeting, the teams recieved their mouth blocks, and were sent home to prepare for first light to begin the hunt.

The teams will hunt for 2 days. They will have to be back to weigh-in and checked in before 6pm, to not be disqualified from the contest.

The team most numbers of coyote will be the winners. IVH is paying the 1st to 3rd place, along with a trophy plaque per place, for each team member.

We also have sidebets for Large Male, Large Female, and Small Dog, at $20.00 per catagory.

I will post picture before and after the weigh-in and awards.

The Results are in! The 2013 Blast from the Past is done for another year. Start of the new coyote calling season was a good one.

13 teams all but one team returned to weigh-in, due to having been called to return to work (Government).

The teams brought in 28 coyotes, for the 2 day event.

1st Place went to Team Davey Moore & Dillon Kopp with 6 coyotes
2nd Place went to Team Jim Walker & April Bronson with 5 coyotes
3rd Place went to Team Luke Forsea & Nic Forsea with 5 coyote

The tie for second and third place was broke by the time the last coyote was shot.

As for the side bets:
Big Male - 38.2 pounds - taken by Team Wade Thomas & Rodney Ames
Big Female - 27.2 pounds - taken by Team Davey Moore & Dillon Kopp
Little Dog - 15.2 pounds - taken by Team Rob Waters & Dan Wallace

Everyone seemed to have had a good time.
