Coyote[head down] watching me. Coyote is right near the 1/2 mile fenceline. Just over a low knoll on the down-wind side. Red Fox around 400yrds out. Another Red around 200yrds out. Coyote around 600yrds out. Red around 400yrds out. Red around 300yrds out. Red atad over 300yrds out. Red around 3/8 mile out. Coyote around 3/8 mile out. Coyote out near the 1/2 mile fenceline. Coyote around 3/8 mile out. Coyote 1/2 mile out. Red around 400yrds out. Red around 150yrds out. Pair of Reds laying out near the 1/2 mile. Pr of Reds around 300yrds out. Coyote 1/4 mile out. Red around 250yrds out. Panoramic view. Coyote 1/2 mile out. What do all of these canines have in common? Their all useing structure/[hills or drifted fencelines] to block the prevailing wind. Their all on the down-wind side, wind at their backside. Facing a down-wind direction.

Panasonic DMC LZ-28. Point n shoot, with a fixed zoom lens. Not to shabby IMO. Cost $300.00.

Good to see you here Clint.
Coyote pop was down last yr, had only 56 sightings. Down by 20% or so. Red pop was up last season, seen 17. Haven't seen that many Reds since the early 70's.
Coyote pop seems to flucuate around every 3yrs. Reds are finally making a come back. Most predator hunters are giving them a free pass, about time.
