I picked up a Caldwell up to 27" bipod and it did not fit right, didn't seem very stout and was not a swivel one so I took it back. Not being the fine coyote hunters that you guys are, do many of you use them? I have shooting sticks but the bipod on my .17hmr I use for bench shooting is on a swivel and works great. (I've seen a few coyote videos where it seems a good handful use the bipods.) What do you think? I looked at a Harris but it was 132.00 + tax. OUch.

Moose99 is right, sticks are a better way to go! I just happen to sell the very best shooting sticks made. They are almost indestructible, made from fiberglass and rubber, will last a lifetime. They are made by Venum Outdoors, Made In The USA! They are $39.99 a pair plus shipping ($6.50). You can find them on my website at www.timberbutteoutdoors.com/TBOStore/TBOStoreIndex.htmlGary

I use the Harris Bipod that goes from 13 in. to 27 in. which works good on Rockchucks & groundsquirrals. I also bought the shooting sticks that Gary sells, am going to do some coyote hunting this yr. Chaseing Nicks coyote #'s

Moose99 (Legendary) needs those longer shooting sticks like Bob said to hobble around. Chasing Nick's Coyotes.. I hope one of them, Canadian Grey Wolves don't respond to your predator calling, I don't think you hobble fast enough.

Moose99 (Legendary in who's mind) I was wondering how you counted exactly 1819 Whistlepigs. Do you have a whistlepig calculator? Where did you get it from Cabela's or out of your Cracker Jacks box?

Hey guys, we need to be careful what we say about shooting/walking sticks. Not to mention any names but there are certain people among us that need them to stay off their face while out in the field! It's hard to use a bipod attached to your rifle for that. Bob

Hey Guy's
Lets not turn having fun and kidding around into a grudge match. Making one another angry, hurting feelings, oneupsmanship, and alienation is NOT COOL!. That stuff only creates rifts and discontent within the club and friendships.
So, Please lets scale it back, and keep it civil! Lets all remain friends, so that we can enjoy one another's company when we get together. There is no need for hurt feelings!
Thank You! Gary
