No I haven't tried that bullet. I have shot the 35 gr. v-max in my .218 Bee. Killed a coyote with it in Wyoming. It was 176 yds., at the shot it dropped in it's tracks and never even quivered. Couldn't find an entrance and there was no exit but that coyote was DEAD. Sounds like you've been busy, you definitely need to do some shooting.

My son-in-law in Mountain Home is now starting to reload and is looking for Varget. We made a ladder for him to try with his new AR and he has found his load after doing some more development.
Would someone please let me know when it is available somewhat close to Mountain Home? It is not really around up here. Varget hits the shelf and will be gone usually in minutes.
Thanks,

We may be able to get some around here. Next time I'm in Boise I'll check at Cliff's.

I'm not hurting for Varget and the son-in-law is deployed so will not be making any rounds for a while that I need Varget but I still check and have not seen any for a long while. I really don't need to restock yet but have been looking for some RL22, that too has been in short supply, but a lot of other powders are back out. Nice to see.
