Hello IVH Members. Thanks for the opportunity to listen and learn about Idaho varmint hunting. I'm all ears. My background: shooting varmints for a few decades - Remington 700 - 22-250 & 6mm. The 17HMR and 22LR are my mainstays as I volunteer at farms & ranches in SoCal near the Mexican Border. Having fun with 22LR sub sonic rounds near the hay barns...it takes them a little longer for them to get on to me. I am looking ahead to Spring 2014 for a trip to Idaho. Also am an active NRA Instructor and Range Safety Officer if you need a political checkup.

We are glad to have you join in, we are all interested in any new stories or pictures. Sorry to hear you are in Calif. all of the wife's family is spread out from Ojai to the southern border. Sounds like you have found some like minded people to hang around with which makes it fun. When you get ready to come up let us know ahead of time so we can get together and talk or burn some powder. Many thanks for the hospitality offer. I would be in your debt.
In the press... Nice move by those savvy Idaho riders that got the young 16 year old gal to her family. What a story and this one had a good ending!

Eric Mayer (another California Newbee) can bring a lot to the party I think.
