Well, we had 12 teams sign up. That is great. The weather is nice. We will see tonight how everyone did. Stay tuned to this Bat Channel -

We had a great badger tournament this year. I was impressed by how many were brought in. Thanks to all who entered and hunted in the contest. Gary has the official results so I'll let him post them. I don't want to mess up the totals. Good day for badgers to die. Congratulations to the winners.

I was just thinking about the badger tournament and it seems strange to me that none of you mentioned where you got your badgers. What's up with that?

I wasn't there but I'll take a guess they say, "outside". I thought you guys somewhat hid your hunting locations. Seems like I remember something about maps to secret spots being 'for sale'.

Well, even though they are the secret spots I'm hoping you guys will take me on a coyote hunt this winter if I can make it down since I am certainly no threat to secret honey spots since I only get down there once to twice a year.

LOL, are you going to split that with them? I know what you mean about coyotes, I'm getting anxious to get after them again. That is if I can ever get anybody to hunt with me again. I've got some new calls I want to try too.

I was just remembering the time I started to pull a dead one out of a hole and another live one growled at me. Makes you pull your hand back real fast, lol. I was with Eric and he shot bthree out of that same hole! I think we got six that day.

Good work on the badgers. For some reason I haven't seen many badgers this year. I've only seen one and missed it, badger fever I think! Guess I'm just not getting in the right place at the right time.
