Anyone do it yet? I've got a couple large ones in the freezer and one the skull is intact and the other the skull is in tiny pieces as it took a 58 grain to the mouth. Trying to figure out if I want to make a Daniel Boone type had for the grandkids and if I did, use the the one with the skull or the one without?

The original D. Boone coon skin hats didn't have a skull, just the face. Always thought a badger hat would be neat.

Shot a couple fairly large ones last year in Montana and want to do something with them. I can just have the face then with the one that took it in the mouth and into the skull. biggest piece of skull was about 1-1/2" large. Crazy part, the head looked intact from the outside and no big holes going out and it was a .243 58 grain that left the barrel around 3700fps and the shot was under 200yds.
