Mine is at a bit of a standstill till I do some front suspension work. We modified my front A arms and cut them 1-1/2" per side and now the top circle track tubular A arm we are using has limited the up travel so I have 1" of travel up instead of around 3" and it hits like a brick and knocks the front down and lifts the back tires and spins them for lousy 1.5 60's and 10.4 quarters instead of 10.2's like it probably should run. I know I got the power because my mph is almost always, without exception, faster than everyone I race that is 2 tenths quicker. Sometimes by nearly 5mph. New tires and rims though for a new look. Let me know how you are doing, and any other racers. Here is a mini vid where I didn't heat the tires up and the time went to a 10.5. I've found out the hard way, there better be a lot of smoke from the tires or I didn't do it right. What I like about this video is the sound. Cars going up to the light and setting the trans brake is an awesome sound. Turn it up and that's what it's like. If you look close you can see on the launch when it barely picks up and drops down and then unloads the back tires. Click on the picture. It is only of the launch as we were comparing the same setup, weight, motor with the exception of front suspension that has full lift between my Camaro and the '67 Chevelle. My buddy's car with his 71 year old dad driving the '67 Chevelle:

I have been going pretty good. Car is running in the 7.20s at 184 right where it should be. I went to the final four the other night before going -.002 on the tree... oops What track is that at your pics are from? I am hoping to travel to Woodburn, Champion, Spokane, and maybe get over to Montana to Yellowstone raceway.

Those pictures were from Pacific Raceway in Kent at a Wednesday evening Test and Tune but we seem to do more racing at Bremerton. That was a close light for you for the big ugly red eye. My lights have been so horrible lately I'm about to let someone else drive it if I can't get it figured out. My niece, who runs mini rails, races quite a bit at Woodburn and she is pretty good. Another couple years I may have her drive my car. She cuts a great light. 7.20's, wow, that is moving. I went a couple rounds and got caught at the tree sleeping, having a latte, admiring the weather, reading a book and singing row row row your boat before I left, a .432 reaction time. It happens sometimes. Lost to a guy named Jeremy that bought Arron Spitzers Camaro and he may work for Randy's Ring and Pinion. You may know Arron as he drives all over now to a bunch of the races like Woodburn and Spokane.
I'm a novice at the racing game but still enjoy it.

.432 ouch but when your not leaving on the top bulb the consistant lights are harder to hit. Lately my lights have been right where I want them about a .012 or so average. I will be going to Spokane at the end of august for the Summit ET finals race.

Looks like I'm going to what would be my last race of the season tomorrow. One of my buddies is now throwing a 300 shot on his '72 Chevelle and is going 8.14's. Me and another friend will be there for moral support and probably going low to mid 10's. Almost seems like a snails pace compared to being in the 8's.
I really should be home getting work done around the house, but duty calls.

It appears we hurt the motor at the Classic Not 100% sure yet but thought we found some pieces of a piston ring where it doesn't belong.

Ouch, that is going to hurt.
I finally got my best time, 10.275 near 132mph and my buddy's '72 Chevelle went 8.13 at 166mph and hanging the laundry to slow down. It was only 50 degrees out in the heat of the day.

Nice we did a little car work as in changed the high speed bleeds from 32 to 30 and we went from a 7.34 to a 7.23 and gained about 4 mph. I cant wait to actually really tune this baby and go to woodburn! I went 7.06 at 190.8 there hopefully I will be a 6.9... at 190 plus this upcoming season. It should add for a lot of excitement haha. I am actually trying to convince my dad we need a 2nd car. Build this car to run a solid 6.80s and the new car to run 7.80s. Make one my everyday bracket car and one my lets go fast bracket car lol.
