Hello everyone. A little about me. I have actually never been hunting. I am in the process of going through hunters ed right now. I am 29 and decided I am going to go hunting. I was looking for a group that would be able to help me learn the ropes and maybe go hunting or shooting with sometime. I also spend most of my time out at Firebird Raceway racing a dragster out there. I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Hello Cody,

My name is Gary. I am one of the Owners/Founders/Sec/Tres/Webmaster of the Idaho Varmint Hunters. I have been calling coyote for 40 years, I still get as excited as I did the very first time I ever had a coyote called for me (I was 10 years old).

We would be glad to help you out with getting started in learn to hunt the hunter! That is what we do, we are here to teach and pass on our experiences and knowledge of predator calling, and varmint hunting.

Tomorrow night is the weigh-in for the contest we are having right now - it will be at Hawktech Arms on Franklin Rd. between Eagle Rd & Locust Grove. The cut-off is at 6pm, but if you come at 5 it would be better to see what is going on.

Don't be shy, come and introduce yourself, so we can get started to getting to know you, and you us. Then we have a club meeting on Oct 9th at 7pm at the Great Wall Chinese Resturant on Eagle Rd. Come down check us out, and then join the club, become an active member, and we will get you out into the sagebrush and show the ropes of calling coyotes.

I will be at Firebird Raceway from Tuesday to Sunday of this week sadly so I cant make it. I am hoping soon I will be able to come out and meet some people though! Hope you had a great weekend.
