We received the IDFG Ground Squirrel Letter today.

You will be glad to know that we are clear and good to go piggin in SW Idaho.

Loren called me and asked if I wanted to read the letter - My response was: Absolutely Freak'n YES!

Page 1 is the letter.
Page 2 is a map showing locations of the protected squirrels.
Page 3 is an outline of boundries of the protected areas.

Loren also told me that the Fed's (USF&W) were involved in making these determinations. The Fed's also said that they are good with the program slated by IDFG.

Loren also reported that the IDFG Law Enforcement have been told to not ticket anyone for shooting squirrels in the SW Idaho area.

broper: Nice buck ! I haven't got out this year. Season ends Tuesday and we are getting lots of rain and supposed to keep raining through about Thursday. So I probably won't get out this year. Oct 24, 2021 6:46:00 GMT -7
