I've been using the MEC 9000 for reloading 12ga and it works great if you listen and feel how it is going but if you randomly pull the lever you could be cleaning lead shot and gun powder for a while. If you are looking for volume this may be the way to go.

Also, if you are doing it for practice on skeet and trap you can buy reclaimed shot, not the nicest looking shot around but for the 16yd trap and the skeet range it is fine, and a lot cheaper than full 7.5 or 8 shot.
