Hey Everyone,
I have a new member that needs a hunting partner for the Badger Tournament.
His name is Chuck M. He is a retired gentleman, that loves to hunt, shoot, and reload.
If you are interested or need a hunting partner for the Badger Tournament, please post here or you can PM him at chuckm. So, you can get to know one another, and make it out to hunt together.
Come on guys - lets get Chuck set up, so he can participate in the Club Tournament.
Thank You! I hope to see your post here, and hook up with Chuck to hunt. Gary

Hey CPL_USMC, How about coming to our our club meeting when you get back. We have them the 2nd tuesday of each month at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant on Eagle Rd. at 7:00. Everybody is welcome, family, kids. You don't have to be a member. But if you like us and what we do, we'd like for you to join up. You can get aquainted with other varmint hunters and get involved in some of our hunts. There's a lot of varmint hunting experience in our club. I think you'd enjoy it and us. Come on out! Bob

Hello Cpl_USMC,
Welcome to the Forums. Glad you decided to sign up, and join the IVH Community. Good to have you here! We hope you will be around for a looooongtime!
I agree with Bob. Come out to our Club meeting - July 10th, see what we do, and who we are. Get to know us, and let us get to know you, make some friends, find a hunting partner or two.
Until you meet some people, and they get to know you, no one, I know will take you hunting, and they are not going to take you to, or tell you where to go hunting. I have been doing this for 40 years, I have seen it time and time again. I have even taken new guys hunting, shown them the ropes, and have them take a dump right on me - it has even happened recently!!
I AM NOT SAYING that we don't want to help you! It is better to join the club, be active with the club, make firends, when you make a few friends, they will take you hunting.
As far as hunting right now, IT IS TOO HOT! I went with my friend on Saturday afternoon, it was 98-99 degrees, there was nothing moving. And when it did move it was nearly dark. We drove a 100 miles through the desert, nothing! Not even a whistlepig!!??
Our meetings are about 50/50 business and BS, chatting, catching up, talking hunting, guns, calibers, reloading, and talk about critters. The best part of all is eating some good Chinese food, while in the company of good, like minded people.
Hope to meet you soon! Gary
